We try to reuse, repurpose, buy local, and buy handmade where we can. Don't miss the small details, such as a Moroccan side table brought here in the 1940's. We hope you can feel the presence of the unique stories these objects hold. We also hope you infuse your own story as part of the cabin's fabric.

The Rituals
Grab your pour over cup of high end coffee at dawn and sit at our refinished breakfast table on the front patio as the sun awakes. Hike the Mansard trail, one of best local trails near the cabin to study ancient petroglyphs. In the afternoons lounge and BBQ in a spacious fenced in backyard as the sunset turns the sandstone cliffs behind our property every wonderful shade of red. Grab a book from our library or meditate in our master bedrooms deep jacuzzi tub to soak your bones and relax. Lastly step outside and enjoy the propane fire pit as stars begin to piece and overwhelm your eyes.

Quiet Shelters Authentic Log Cabin is equipped with kitchen essentials, an ensuite jacuzzi tub, split unit heating and cooling, washer and dryer, fresh linens and towels, high end body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, curated library of books and records, bbq, and more.
